Prayer and worship are at the heart of life at NDCL. Rooted in our mission to empower leaders to transform the world as Jesus did—by living the truth in love, we gather often as a community to celebrate the Eucharist, grow in faith, and support one another through prayer.

School Liturgies

Throughout the liturgical year, the entire school comes together for all-school Masses on major feast days and other important celebrations. These moments are central to our identity as a faith community, and parents are always welcome to join us. You can find a schedule of upcoming Masses under the Calendar tab.

Students are encouraged to take an active role in our liturgies, serving as:

  • Lectors
  • Gift Bearers
  • Altar Servers
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
  • Members of the Music Ministry

Daily Mass & Adoration

The Annunciation Chapel is the spiritual heart of our campus, providing weekly opportunities for prayer and encounter with Christ:

  • Daily Mass — Every Tuesday during Lion Time, students and faculty are invited to gather for Mass in the Annunciation Chapel. This intimate celebration of the Eucharist offers time to pause, reflect, and draw closer to Christ.

  • Eucharistic Adoration — Every Thursday during Lion Time, our community is invited to spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Whether through quiet reflection, Scripture, or silent thanksgiving, Adoration deepens our awareness of Christ’s presence in our lives.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is also available regularly during Lion Time, giving students the opportunity to experience God’s mercy and grace.

The Powerhouse of Prayer

Our students have self-named NDCL a “Powerhouse of Prayer.” Prayer begins and ends each school day, and every class opens with student-led prayer. Students grow comfortable lifting up their own intentions, praying for one another, and turning to God in both joy and challenge.

When a need arises, students often call upon the Powerhouse to unite in prayer for a classmate, family, or cause. Whether it’s through our all-school liturgies, chapel opportunities, or daily moments in the classroom, prayer at NDCL is more than a tradition—it’s part of who we are.
