At NDCL, we believe that service is at the heart of living the truth in love. To honor the commitment and leadership of students who go above and beyond in serving others, Campus Ministry recognizes outstanding service each year through special awards and honors.
The Sr. Jacquelyn Gusdane, SND, Service Award
Each year, One Male and One Female Graduate is recognized with the prestigous Sr. Jacquelyn Gusdane, SND, Service Award. Recipients are chosen for their dedication to serving others and for the inspiration they bring to our NDCL community through their witness of faith in action.
Commencement Service Cord
Graduating seniors who demonstrate exceptional service throughout their high school years are honored with a purple service cord worn at Commencement. To be eligible, students must complete:
- 160 Service Hours over the course of the 4 years (2x the Graduation Requirement)
The Campus Ministry Senior Hands of a Servant Award
This special award is presented to seniors who have shown extraordinary leadership in service through Campus Ministry. Recipients have participated in numerous events and projects, embodying NDCL’s mission to transform the world as Jesus did, by living the truth in love.
